The Lombard

La Lombarda takes its name from one of Stresa's oldest inns, and its recent renovation has created four welcoming apartments, located in the central Piazza Capucci, where one of Lake Maggiore's most interesting and picturesque markets takes place every Friday.
The accommodations are ideal for couples or families, and their central location allows you to easily reach typical bars and restaurants, Italian shops, and main attractions, including boats to the Borromean Islands and Stresa's lakeside promenade with its luxurious hotels and lakeside beaches.
For those arriving in Stresa by car, there is a convenient public parking lot in the square where you can leave your vehicle, except on Friday mornings due to the market.

Among the streets of Stresa's historic center you will find a little corner of paradise.
The Corte dei Mercanti is a tenement house, a typical structure of Milanese public housing from the early 1900s, and is ideal for those who want to enjoy a romantic holiday on the beautiful shores of Lake Maggiore.
Completely renovated in 2025, it overlooks a private courtyard on one side and the central Piazza Capucci on the other. Every Friday, the colorful stalls that create a fascinating market attract visitors from all over Lake Maggiore.
For those arriving in Stresa by car, there is a convenient public parking lot in the square where you can leave your vehicle, except on Friday mornings due to the market.
